Mayor Anschutz has lived within the Borough for the last 16 years. He is raising two daughters in the Borough, with his wife. Mayor Anschutz retired from Law Enforcement in December 2019 after 15 years of service. Out of those 15 years, Mayor Anschutz was employed 13 years by Harrisville Borough Police Department. In 2008 Mayor Anschutz was promoted from Patrolman to Sargent then becoming Officer in Charge in 2019.
While working with the Police Department he worked with numerous different council members, mayors, chiefs, and officers. With his years of experience working in the Borough he gained the knowledge of overseeing the daily operations of the police department, enforce ordinances, preserve order, and perform such duties as assigned by law or ordinance.
Mayor Anschutz wants to see Harrisville Borough keep a positive impact for the younger generations, as this is a great community with a lot to offer residents and visitors of all ages.
